Because of the base of the Hayabusa lever being so large, it might not be compatible with every non-Hori fightstick on the market. Another thing is that if you ever plan to get another Hayabusa lever for another fightstick, just know that the base itself is massive compared to the Sanwa lever (which is the cause of the hollow sound that the Hayabusa has). So what I would suggest for your first mod to the fightstick is getting a 4lb spring for the Hayabusa lever. Because the Hayabusa lever is very loose, it'll have a chance to rebound if you press right let the stick return to neutral by itself, causing accidental inputs. Otherwise, stick with the regular Sanwa buttons.Įven though I favor the Hayabusa lever, there are a few precautions that you might need to know. If you want buttons that are fairly stiff and want buttons that are louder than Sanwa buttons, I would suggest going with the Hori Hayabusa buttons. If you don't want that, I would suggest you stick with the Sanwa lever. The short answer is that if you want a lever with less force to operate, has a hollow sound inside the actual fightstick, and has just as much customization abilities as the Sanwa, get the Hori Hayabusa lever. Thanks you'll for reading this post, and advice will be highly appreciated! I'll be using the stick mostly for SFV and Super Turbo. I'll totally prefer a full sanwa stick, and with that budget I can buy an F300 Elite or a Qanba Drone/Carbon + the sanwa lever and buttons, but I want to try a bigger stick, and the SCVI RAPN it's the only big stick that fits the budget. Right now I have a limited budget of ~100 bucks for spending on a stick, and I can't save that much more because I have to buy the stick in the next 2 weeks at the most. Right now I'm using a modded Qanba Q1 with all Sanwa parts (wich will replace my lil brother's Hori Mini), and I'm interested in the Soul Calibur IV Hori RAP N because of it's price, but it has all Hayabusa parts, which I've never tried before, and I don't have any friend with a stick with those parts. The thing is that I'm from Paraguay and we have very few arcade sticks on sale, and the ones we have are a lot more expensive than in USA (for example HORI RAP 4s at USD 200), and an aunt that's living in USA is coming in a month, so I can give her the money and she'll bring the stick in her bag without any shipping costs. I want to know how well does the Hori Hayabusa lever stands up against the Sanwa JLF. ![]()
